This is the last division in Minor Ball.
The focus for U20 is celebrating lifelong friendships and making new ones, playing at a competitive level, entering tournaments, and enjoying playing against teams from around the Fraser Valley and the Lower Mainland.
Teams / players aging out of minor are encouraged to continue their softball career playing women’s ball in the Lower Mainland.
Teams will have at least one practice per week. This will be determined by the coach once teams are formed.
Games will be umpired and use the Inter-lock rules. There are no modifications in this division. The focus of this division is making new friends, cheering and coming together as a team. We will play against teams from the Lower Mainland.
Teams will compete in tournaments including the city wide Districts to try to win a berth in Provincials.
Players are more than welcome to play with friends.
Birth Years: 2006, 2005 & 2004
Game Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Times: Coaches will let players know what time to be at the park usually around 5:30
Game starts: 6:30 p.m.
Equipment Required: Softball Cleats (soccer ones are fine), softball glove, helmet WITH CAGE, and defensive mask.
Jocks/Jills suggested for players playing catcher or pitcher
Registration Cost: $220 (house level; plus volunteer deposit)
